Sandestin's original course is a links-style routing beside Baytowne Marina, with five holes running along Choctawhatchee Bay and the rest winding over gently rolling ground. Gulf Coast wind is the main defense, putting a premium on club selection and accurate approaches. Four tee sets range from about 4,900 to 6,700 yards.
