The Country Club at Silver Springs Shores

Overview

Designed by Desmond Muirhead and opened in 1969, this semi-private parkland course southeast of downtown Ocala is best known for fast, severely contoured greens. It stretches to about 6,900 yards from the gold tees and finishes with a 585-yard par 5. The clubhouse has a lounge with weekly steak nights, and the club runs leagues and charity scrambles.
