Overview
Steve Smyers laid out Southern Dunes in 1993 across a sandy ridge with roughly 100 feet of elevation change, unusual terrain for central Florida. The par-72 course is defined by large, dramatic sand bunkers and rolling fairways, and plays to 7,192 yards from the Black tees. The clubhouse houses the Tavern on the Dunes restaurant and Trackman simulator bays.
