Overview
Sierra Star is Mammoth Mountain's 18-hole, par-70 course on the slopes above the Village at Mammoth, among the highest-elevation courses in California. Cal Olson's 1999 design winds through Jeffrey pines with mountain views and plays shorter than its 6,708 yards in the thin air. The site has a short-game area with swing nets and the Chip Shot Cafe overlooking the 18th green, but no full driving range.
