Overview
The Fazio is the reworked version of The Haig, the first course to open at PGA National in 1980 and originally named for Walter Hagen. Tom Fazio II kept the original par-72 routing but rebuilt bunkers and tees and enlarged the TifEagle greens by about 70 percent before it reopened in 2012. The par-5 4th, at 575 yards from the Haig tees, is billed by the resort as one of its toughest holes.
