Overview
The Destroyer is the 18-hole championship course of the 27-hole Navy Golf Course operated by Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach MWR, though the facility itself sits off Orangewood Avenue in Cypress. Opened in 1966 to a Joe Williams design, it plays to par 72 and nearly 6,800 yards with four par 5s. The MWR site lists the course as open to the public, with tee times booked through the Navy's online system (military patrons get priority), so no base pass is needed to reach the course.
