Muroc Lake Golf Course

Overview

Muroc Lake Golf Course is the 18-hole, par-72 William F. Bell layout at Edwards Air Force Base; the front nine opened in 1959 and the back nine in 1967. Green desert fairways are framed by scrub and rock, with Bermuda greens and the Sandbagger Grill in the clubhouse. Civilians without base access need a guest pass (monthly passes are arranged through the pro shop); 18-hole fees range from about $13 for junior enlisted to $30 for guests.
