Fort Myers Country Club

Overview

Fort Myers Country Club is the city's municipal course on McGregor Boulevard, about a mile from the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. Donald Ross designed it and it opened in 1917; Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were regular players there in the 1920s. Steve Smyers restored it in 2014, and it is a par-70 layout of about 6,800 yards with Bermuda grass and affordable, walk-friendly rates.
