Overview
Tom Fazio's only public-access design in Louisiana, Contraband Bayou winds through the marshy lowlands beside L'Auberge Casino Resort, with eight lakes and wetlands framing much of the round. Wide fairways and white-sand bunkers give way to wind and water as the chief challenges, highlighted by the semi-island-green par-3 8th. The greens were rebuilt with Champion Bermuda in 2010 after the course survived hurricanes Katrina and Rita in its opening year.
