Overview
The Lakeside Course is the original of Blackhawk Country Club's two private 18-hole layouts, built in 1981 by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge in the hills east of Danville. A 2001 renovation by Graves, Pascuzzo and Staples updated the par-72 course, which plays to about 6,770 yards from the back tees. Members also have access to the Falls Course, five dining venues, extensive racquet courts, a pool and a fitness center.
